My Ghetto Report Card is the ninth album by E-40, released by Sick Wid It, Lil Jon’s BME Recordings and Reprise on March 14, 2006.

The story

It reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the R&B and rap charts, his highest ever, and went platinum. “Tell Me When to Go” with Keak da Sneak made hyphy a national phenomenon, and “U and Dat” with T-Pain and Kandi Burruss reached No. 13 on the Hot 100.

Sound and production

Lil Jon brought crunk energy, while Bay producers Rick Rock and Droop-E, E-40’s son, kept it rooted at home.

Legacy

It gave E-40 a new generation of fans and made the Bay’s hyphy sound, sideshows and slang national news.
