D-Boy Fresh is Tone Tone’s second album, released by Wide Open Records in 2007.

The story

It came three years after Skoolz In Session, following mixtapes, the New Skool group and his Sho’nuff deal. “What Up Doe,” named after the Detroit greeting, was a local success.

Sound and production

Seventeen tracks with Young Joc on “Luv Da Way She Doin’ It,” Teairra Marí on “Sidekick,” and E-Dash, Deon and Recachello.

Legacy

It cemented his Detroit street following, which carried into the “Waddupdoe” posse video with Big Herk and others.
