Six Acres

Alexander Graham Holland was born on November 9, 1974, in Chapeltown, Leeds, and moved at ten to the Six Acres Estate in Finsbury Park. He came up in the Mud Family crew with Task Force’s Chester P and Farma G.

Council Estate of Mind

His album Council Estate of Mind came out on Low Life in August 2004 and reached No. 65 on the UK chart, No. 6 on the independent chart. Built around samples from the 1982 TV play Made in Britain, it told the truth about estate life with no gloss and became one of the defining UK rap records. He also appeared in BBC Three’s Tower Block Dreams and Dubplate Drama.
