Highbury

Task Force are brothers Chester P (Joey Coombes) and Farma G (Robin Coombes), who grew up in Highbury and Canonbury in Islington. Their father was Peet Coombes of The Tourists. Both were founding members of the Mud Family and the Bury Crew, alongside Skinnyman.

Music From The Corner

New Mic Order (1999) and Voice of the Great Outdoors (2000) came out through Low Life. In 2001 they started their own imprint and the Music From The Corner series, which ran to five volumes by 2013. Chester P’s dense, dark writing made them a cornerstone of the UK underground.
